Founded in 2017, “Road to Bird’s Nest” serves as the only official qualification pathway to Longines Beijing Masters—China’s premier equestrian event held at a dual-Olympic venue.

The series features four major regional divisions—Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Greater Bay Area, Southwest China, and the Yangtze River Delta—significantly enhancing regional coverage and accessibility. It also innovatively introduces a “repechage” (second-chance) mechanism, offering outstanding riders a valuable final opportunity to advance.

In 2026, the series will feature intense competition across ten qualifying events over six months of the year. The total number of horse-rider combinations is expected to exceed 4,600, with an estimated 360 pairs standing out to successfully qualify, bringing more suspense and excitement to the Longines Beijing International Equestrian Masters.
